Thanks for your response on the aurore colour. The only reason I asked was that somewhere in the back of my memory I recall a discussion years ago with Dr Mike Thomas from South Wales, a master Historex modeller, who advised me that it should have a little bit of pink in the pale orange shade to make it look like the sunrise! Just wondered if this advice was still out there in the collective consciousness...

Great work anyway.

Very nice indeed Bob , very MM stylistic type of paint job which suits these little masterpieces .
As you say they are a bloody fiddle when it comes to sword slings etc :)

Well bob, that's a really really nice job you've done in this mate, these MM pieces have so much fine detail, great job

Thank you both for the compliment, I have a few more in the stash but at the moment, I am painting the C/Sgt 28th Foot by FeR miniatures. Hope to have him done soon.
Thanks again, Im chuffed to bits.

Napoleonics.:)

Paul.
Many thanks Paul (lovely boy). Really grateful for your kind words, I am doing a C/Sgt 28th foot from FeR miniatures right now so will post piccies soon, just to keep in your good books.

I like the subtle tones (something I strive for but not always achieve) and the clean well defined work on this subject.

Oda.

A nice job Bob. Looks great.

I like the MM figures - not as dramatic in their pose as some, but then soldiers aren't in dramatic poses for most their careers.

Chris

Chris: Thànk you for the kind words.
Oda: I really appreciate your comment, thank you.
Del. Your very kind, I admire your work so I am reallly chuffed.
