Hello Folks

Following on from my initial post yesterday https://www.planetfigure.com/threads/duelling-napoleonic-french-hussars-project.213034/ I now have some pics of the second 1/6th scale bust representing an officer of the French 3rd Hussar Regiment.

These busts will be available soon at a cost of £35.00 per kit. (£65.00 for the pair) Prices inlude worldwide shipping.

As with the 7th Hussar I will be producing an initial run of 50 castings which can be ordered ONLY by emailing me on [email protected]

As soon as castings are available I will send a Paypal invoice to those who have pre ordered.

I will be releasing details of the full figures in this project soon.

Cheers
Gordon

Nice pair and great sculpts but I'm a bit confused about the 'duelling' aspect.

Their right shoulders clearly suggest a raised sword arm: will there be arms with swords to put them in an en-guard position or something?

Otherwise they just seem to look odd.

You probably already know but these are the main characters in the film "The Duellist".

Keith Carradine and Havey Keitel.

A great looking pair of two characters from one of my all time favourite films and they look just like the actors Keitel and Caradine. As a pairing, I would have preferred it however if one was looking left and and one right to pose them as a pairing looking towards each other and you could then imagine where their arms and sabres were.

A minor issue and -' you can't please all the people all the time!' as they say and a tremendous pairing nonetheless; a great project Gordon well done mate!
