I searched the database for articles on dullcote, just to make sure I wasn't asking a redundant question:

I like the effect of Testor's spray-on DullCote. However, will it protect my figure, or is it just a matte layering, but not a "finish" (protecting agent)? If I use 2-3 coats, will that keep my little guys' paint jobs secure and pristine (barring any overhandling on my part - or the part of my two-year-old daughter who likes to climb up my lighted book case!).

Thanks for any direction.... :)

What I usually do before I apply the dullcoat is to apply a little heat to the figure, this will prevent any gloss.

Cheers
Roc. :)
