painting flats

What a beautifully painted piece. Where might I order the piece you painted? I have only collected a couple of flats. I took a seminar with Penny Myers and tried to learn an old Dutch technique that involves painting the entire flat in shadows and highlights and then applying a number of layers of color glazes. She is a master of the process and I am only an admirer so far. Thanks for posting such a beautiful piece. Do you paint in oil or acrylics?
Best wishes,
Steven Lloyd

Thank you Dan.

Carl, thank you and there's nowt wrong with a bit of sarcasm now and then :D

Steven, thank you. If you go to the Historex Agents site you will find them for a very good price. I'm not sure how many are left but give it a try.

I painted this one in Winsor & Newton Galeria acrylics, a new direction for me. I actually fancy giving that technique you have described a go, it sounds interesting.
