A lance corporal of the East Riding of Yorkshire Imperial Yeomanry depicted on camp around 1903. This was sculpted by me in 1/16 scale using a mannequin I designed and printed with heads and hands from Redees miniatures. I hope you like it.

I know this is t the critique forum but please feel free to offer feedback, by DM if you’d prefer.

Thanks to everyone who helped along the way.

Hi Stefan,

Ive done a rough overlay of your figure with proportions and I feel that your figure is lacking in the shoulders and maybe a little wide at the waist...? Not a criticism, just offering some help, as I would when I teach this stuff!(y)

Wonderful first sratchbuild mate, good advice from Valiant as well. I would suggest taking smaller steps making the clothing, again slowing the process but giving more control as you proceed.

Cheers Simon

Thanks all.

Thanks Valiant, you’re not wrong. I definitely need to build the shoulders more next time, the waist is a bit of a saga, I wound up lengthening the tunic which moved the waist down, I also made it too thick in relation to the shoulders. Certainly a point for next time is to take more time on the anatomy.
