Eddie Rickenbacker (Dolman Miniatures)

Captain Eddie Rickenbacker; Dolman Miniatures, 1/10 scale bust.

I bought this from Kevin (Nap) back in April at the Poole Vikings Show.
It's a nice bust, which maintained my sanity while working on the Andrea Centurion.
Painting is my usual oils over enamels , or straight enamels, with some acrylics (Darkstar Molten Metals) which I used for the buttons.

These 3D sculpts do achieve extremely good likenesses.
However, I still prefer the excellent hand sculpts that we regularly see on PF (eg. Chris's 'stoffy01' Dad's Army busts).
