Just cleaned up and primed this gorgeous bust from Rob Lane at Elan13 for my next WIP. Just waiting for the primer to fully go off then let the brush licking start :)

Oooo, that will be a hard act to follow lol. The scarf is worrying me a bit but I like the way you did it. I pass on the zits though :)

Thanks a lot graham , you will have fun painting this ...and you could also watch the series for reference !!

If you do a search here on PF there are some other nice versions and of course there is the review I did as well with the box art .
Glasses .....suggest you look at Kristal Klear for the lens

Happy painting

Started to get the face worked on, the hat and scarf blocked in to help judge contrast. Must admit I am preferring a soft contrast face, I just don’t seem to build up the higher contrast and make it work. For now, I will stick with what I know, it’s safer lol. Still needs some blending work though and he does look a little pale in the picture.....

Thanks Nap. No, it was primed using a Tamiya pale grey which is just about the same colour as the resin. Two or three light coats after washing the piece. Thanks for commenting, the support I get on these projects really helps me try to do a decent job on them :)
