I hope Richard Holmes would have been proud…

Apologies for the rubbish photo set-up, but I find this bit by far the hardest part.

Thoughts, feedback etc welcomed- be honest.

It was painted in Humbrol enamels. Base scratch built.
Swearing and cursing in English throughout.
It’s a series of 45, 60, 90 minute morning sessions in the south facing conservatory, listening to Radio 4, Addressing Gettysburg and jazz/dance/techno-swing.

Hi David

Nice to see this in Completed

If I might ask ...have you painted the plume and rosette beneath , and the shake cords if not I would highlight get further to define them

Overall presentation looks good

Thanks Nap
They're all painted light grey and highlighted. I suspect my hamfisted photography doesn't reflect it very well.

He has turned out nicely. 54mm British infantryman kit painted in Humbrol enamels, just like the old days.....wonderful!
I see from the web that he is part of a vignette set, are you doing the others?

Thanks everyone
The grey highlights stick out a bit - next time I’ll use lighter tones for the base colour, and shade more.
No further Napoleonic subjects planned. The stash must shrink considerably before I buy anything new, and there aren’t any more of these in the cupboard.
