Today I wrapped up Elizabeth and mounted her to the finished base. There will be a brass plaque for the front of the base before it is delivered.

All the painting is done in enamels.

I just noticed I have not attached her pearl ear rings.....

Nice work , please do tell us how you dealt with the ruff ...I have mine (not the ruff!!) on the table and am shaking !!!!!!

Nice treatment of the jewels , I am going to give mine a more colourful dress based on a painting reference but your subtle tones are beautifully done .

Many thanks guys for all of the kind words and feedback. Much appreciated. It was indeed a welcome change and challenge from my usual subjects of Native Americans and Mountain Men.

Nap ~ The collar was done by spraying the collar with a light gray and using a brush to get into the ends followed by several dry-brushing of pure white over the whole collar. It was actually the easiest part.
