This figure represents Kaiser Napoleon, III at the battle of Sedan, 1871.

The kit comes boxed in a light cardboard box with 12 parts enclosed on a baggie and the sword enclosed in a seperate bag.

The kit is cast in a light gray resin with no seam lines. The casting blocks are the only prior painting work that need be done.

The head is cast separtetly with a block under the neck for correct positioning on the torse. The hat is cast with the hands.

The coat is cast in 2 sections with locating lugs on one side and slots on the other side for proper positioning.

The torso is a seperate part with lugs underneath for positioning the legs and a square slot to recieve the head and be positioned correctly.

Each of the legs are cast separtley and have no seam lines. Just remove the casting block.

Above are the hands and hat cast on a seperate sprue.

The hood to the overcoat is also cast separtely and fits right on top of the 2 joined overcoat halves.

Above we see the right arm and the white metal sword the figure is holding in front of him.

A resin base can be used and has slots for correct positioning of the legs / feet.

Conclusion:
Another excellent quality casted kit from Ulrich Puchala. Highly reccomended.
