When sculpting I do try focus on the body language, the very basic foundation when sculpting figures. The bare and naked figure should clearly have that body language, animation and character. Just look at Bill Horans figures, when you see his figures unpainted they might look deceitfully simple, but the body language and animation is always very convincing. Everything else is just icing on the cake. Details and weapons are, and should be, secondary.
It indeed all starts with the simplicity.

Dear Friends
I forgot to mention that the putty used for this figure is my new mix of Magic Sculpt with a touch of Duro/Green Stuff. I just love this mix!
A lot of modellers have used this mix for years, it is just me being a little slow... !;)
I mix about 90% MS , grey version, with about 10% Green Stuff. (Make sure to mix each putty first and then mix the two putties together!)

Thanks guys! Your kind words do mean a lot me! And I have to admit that I really enjoying sculpting faces and hair.
Not so keen on doing weapons and such... ! :unsure:
