Hi!

This is my latest work. The Alexandros Models 75mm English Longbowman.
I'm surprised that I haven't seen this figure painted by anyone before. Is such a nice piece.

Hope you like it.

Wow...brilliant piece!..beautifully painted and stunning presentation on that base.
I love it, and I'm also surprised we haven't seen this one more often.........well done.

Really nice Pedro and fabulous base :D

Just one suggestion perhaps tighten the bowstring by bending the arms of the bow slightly or replace it with some elastic 'invisible mending thread' which will be flexible and stay tight (I used to use this for rigging scale model biplanes - if you can't get hold of any send me your address and I'll pop a bit in an envelope to you)
Cheers
Paul

Absolutely lovely composition you have here, dear Pedro!
Painting and groundwork are outstanding! Congrats! (y)
I agree with Paul on the bowstring but I think it is an easy fix. Not a big deal.
Cheers and keep up the fantastic work!

Yes I know this is a bit of a hobby horse of mine but the arrow is on the wrong side of the bow for an English archer using an English draw. If he shot the bow like that the arrow would fly of erratically and not go very far! Search for longbow archers on YouTube. Here is a link to one
Other than that and the loose bowstring it is very good.

Cheers, Bob

Lovely work on very good groundwork.

Do remember though that many archers were actually Welsh and records of payments and awards to Welsh archers exist.

Cheers

Thank you guys for your comments. Much appreciated :)

I do have to fix the bow string and the position of the arrow. I didn't know that the position of the arrow was wrong, I just followed the box art. But I'm also going to fix that ;) Thank you!
