Hello, everyone.
I completed the latest work.
Erich Hartmann (VERLINDEN BUST)
I began paint about one week before.
I was troubled by processing of the gate of a kit.
I took pains to remove.
About paint, I did the coat with the acrylics gouache.
And I finished with the oil-painting (HOLBEIN).
I cannot understand about the detail of a hat.(n) IMG_4282.jpgIMG_4283.jpgIMG_4284.jpgIMG_4285.jpgIMG_4286.jpgIMG_4287.jpgIMG_4288.jpg
I surmised that silver thread was used.
However, I may be wrong.
I am glad if it teaches.
About paint of a face, I have strange touch.
I can think that this face has too large eyes and it is separated from it of the interval of eyebrows.
However, the method of my paint may be the cause.
All comments welcome.;)

I think you have done a nice job painting a bust that isn't really sculpted up to modern standards. It comes across as a bit of a caricature but that's not entirely a bad thing. At least one can tell its supposed to be Hartmann.

Very clean painting!... and lovely skin tones!.. the leather work is excellent. Well done Hikaru! great job! I agree with Colin, as to the piece!.... However I can't get, 'Alister Sim', out of my mind...

Great to see you back Mitsutaka very nicely painted but as you say not a great sculpted face. Looking forward to seeing your trademark groundwork on your next figure.(y)

Cheers Ken

Thank you for the kind comment, Colin.
I am glad that many people look at my work.
This figure is quite an old figure.
Since I cannot do sculpting, I think that I follow this mold.
I compared with his portrait.
I think that I am also alike.

Thank you for the kind comment, Tubby.
About paint, I always consider carrying out carefully.
However, it is difficult for me.
I consider that it is effective, if flesh color and the color of a leather use an oil-painting implement.
The present fashion seems to be BLLEJYO-COLOR.
Thank you very much again.

Hello Ken.
Thank you for the kind comment.
Well, this work is a substitute of a greeting.
I will paint a 120-mm figure next time.
I also regard groundwork as becoming the same as an old thing.
Thank you for expecting.

Thank you for the kind comment, Mike.
I am going to TRY to paint next time also.
Thank you for the great expectation.

Thank you for the kind comment, T34/85.
It seems that this work is generally popular.
I am glad.
It was a long time that paints a bust model in fact.
Courage was required to contribute.
But it is relieved now.

Thank you for the kind indication, Carl.
Fine wrinkles remained in the leatherjacket.
I was troubled by the expression here just for a moment.
I am glad to be pleasing.

I appreciate that you like my work, Edorta.
I use an oil-painting for expression of a leather.
But I think that the results as which acrylics may be sufficient can be achieved.
(In fact, I think that this leatherjacket is black.I directed by Brown.)

Mitsutaka san, I paint this one several years ago and I like the experience. Your painting style continues very attractive. Well done!
