Pleased to hear that you recovered so quickly, and so well.
Just looked at one of your photos, expanded it to the max., and was amazed at the quality of your detailing.
Wow!

Cheers,
Andrew

Added the cartridge belt and pouch. Chains, eagle and crown to come.

Hi Colin,
What I love about your work apart from the amount of skill you possess, is you have a couple of areas of interest and stick to them. Your wealth of knowledge for these areas just screams out in your wonderful unique pieces. That group shot is a credit to you.(y)
cheers
Richie

Thanks a lot for the kind words all.

Richie - takes one to know one. I prefer specialization to generalization but there is nothing wrong with the latter approach either.

I will be branching out as my eldest has requested a large bust of Caesar Augustus for Christmas :)

I just discovered this thread Colin. Your work is superb and thanks so much for sharing the wonderful historical record of Lt. Paulee.

You're going... You're not going... you're going... you're not going...

I have a thought to solve the issue... Bring the expectant mother with you to Chicago! Two birds-one stone! :sneaky:(y)

I'm brilliant!!!!

Likely going stag unless I can talk one of my kids or a fellow modeller (hint) into going. The baby shower got booked for Sunday argh!

There Friday back Sunday. Got a room with two queens (beds that is). Let me know. :)

AAAAARRRGG
I can't help you for this trip... I just ordered some big ticket parts for my bike and bought a new welder.

I'm aiming for Philly though.

BTW, more on track, the Hussar is looking great to this point.

Colin

Bust is looking brilliant as per your usual standard Colin. Will you have it with you at Chicago? Ray Welshman and I will be there again this year, so I'm looking forward to seeing your work in person once more!
