Monsieur Leliepvre sadly passed away on 19th november 2013 at the age of 105. Our hobby would not be as it is now without his contribution.

Very sad news. I have enjoyed his art ever since I made my first Historex kit back in 1973.
Easily the best kind of French Gentleman with a love and empathy for the soldier and his life.

One hundred and five is a good innings as they say. I recall picking up some water colour Napoleonics from a street vendor in Paris and being thrilled to see they were actually signed being M. Leliepvre.
