Who's Sam Hill????? I seem to remember him being a character in a Merle Haggard Song.............did he exist?

'Sam Hill' is a religious expression. As in "I believe in Gosh - and if you don't believe in Gosh too, you'll be darned to heck."

Looking forward to Euro hope Stefan brings Helga(y) and Ronnie brings some of his lovely laddieess:whistle: Has anyone got your mobile number Brian, so we can let you when to get the drinks in when we get of the train:D

Cheers Davie

Just had some awful news regarding our troops. Stefan is unable to reach England from Germany ( sound familiar) something about house building and divorce if he attends Euro. Sad indeed as I have never seen anyone so happy on saturday morning when the doors open.

Brian, no I have not forgotten this amazing event due to happen in only a few weeks. I believe you are expected to get near the bar ( nearer than you got last year) and open your safe and purchase ale for fellow members.
We do run a Masterclass in how to buy beer if you are a wee bit rusty.

Denis, Steve for the benefit of those without a fine Scottish education the following should help. It's dead easy really ......
Can you both please desist from sharing your ill considered opinions with your betters, you two impertinent and somewhat unhygienic gentlemen whose committment to recycling ensures that you source many of your goods and consumables from neighbours refuse depositories. I trust that this has been communicated to you in a way that is clear, unambiguous and understandable?
See you later Alligator........;)

I understood it mate I had the ummm "pleasure" of meeting a lot of your people in the mob :p

One part of our culture I really like is that we, however many make the journey every year and go to enjoy ourselves. I sometimes wonder about some of they others, why do they travel to Folkestone just to look F***ing miserable, Surely they could stay home and look miserable for free!
Just my observations over the years and admit it you have all see them. Perhaps inwardly they are having a ball but feel they have to hide it from the others rather than speading the happiness.

All written very tongue in cheek,

Don

Looking forward to seein the tartan army once again !!!

Don , I've been practicing haggling wi me turkish mate ata,,, your doomed my friend.

The whisky is bought a lovely hearty and very warming glenfarklas 105,,,,, at 60.5 % that should loosen your wallets. I may get a wee milder dram for the light weights.

Working like the preverbial at present but looking forward to the banter, laughs a many and of course a wee dram.
