European Bike Week - Faak am See 2015

I would love to ride through Europe, even more through Scandinavia... ride my longbike around the fjords like a Viking!
Anyway I doubt I will make it to this run so please take and post lots of pics... make me jealous

How true. Just dont do bike's push, pedal or motor. Last time I went on a push bike I felt that I had been sexualy assaulted with a pineapple.

Horse's are nice to look at helpful for the roses but for ridding I can think of better things. Could do a horse and cart manage that ok.

Know what you mean,bud, rode an Arab horse through the Siq, Petra,Jordan, 10 years ago;--like the last scene in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". Great fun, and impressed the Bedouin guide,too.

Huw, that's a show I'd love to get to one of these days. Got some sad riding to do tomorrow, as we're (The Grandfathers) burying our Guv'nor. Another loss to that pernicious bane of humanity--cancer.

Thank you,chaps, for your kind sentiments. It was a great send-off for a great guy. Simple woodland burial,just as he wanted...no fuss, no eulogies,no tears. Not all of us could comply with the last request,however.....He would have enjoyed and approved of the booze-laden party later. We all have wonderful memories and anecdotes from the last 25 years of our 'fraternity'.
