I finished Eurorix by Roberto Chaudon today, I think it's a 1/9th piece.
I tried to paint it a little more natural looking not as forced with the highlights and shadows (just my style preference). It's all painted in Acrylics as usual.
I'm not sure if the tartan is fitting for the piece or not. The pics are taken outside the natural light showed the colours truer than the lights I normally take pics under.
Feel free to critique and thanks for looking,

Andrew.

Love the face and the tartan Andrew. IMO a dark background would look better even under natural light.
Regards.

Excellent work sir. Who cares if the tartan does or doesn't work, it is so well done that it must stay. You are really getting the hang of this painting thing(y)

Very nice indeed Andrew, do like the effects you have on the face.
Dont worry about the "tartan" as tartans, as we know, them had not been invented when this guy was around. Any one says different, just ask him for a photograph.
Nice job on him.

Don

Thank you all for taking the time to comment, I'm pleased you think I did well.
Shame that the tartan isn't correct:( it was good fun to try get some texture into it.

Andrew.
