With notorious shiners like red, yellow, green and blue add a touch of Tamiya X21 to your mix.
The DPM looks well James.(y)

IIRC by the time of the Falklands most SLRs had black plastic butt and handgrips. I stand to be corrected however.

Still some wooden furniture about Bill.

Yes, I wasn't implying that the wooden furniture was wrong. The changeover lasted right up to the introduction of the SA80. Some units held on to the wood as a matter of principle. I must admit I didn't like the plastic. Bill

Can't see the figure......only the base!

Cammo looks great. A lot of people are put off by cammo which is difficult to do. I'd say you've nailed the colours and you've got the shapes in scale.
Puttees are a khaki colour.
I'll pm you on how to use dull coat and the Tamiya
flat base.
Great effort on this, JD

Hi James

Good on you for going for this camo .something I avoid !! ....nice result

Not sure who makes the figure ...( it's got legs ...lol I only paint busts )but try Mitches Military Models or RDG ( Grod here on PF ) for a head

Good advice ref X21,as well

I wasn't sure I had it black to start with but I got it confirmed from a friend who was in the Falklands
His rifle had the wooden butt and grip.
Thanks
