Nice paintwork.
Some more contrast will give him a more stand out. It seems a little flat for me.
I don't paint with acrylic, but i think you do...you have to dilute your paint more. The brushstrokes are to vissible.

You can lose those brush marks with some really well thinned base colour, just go over the edges.
