Thanks, I appreciate the kind words. She is a pretty big model for a 1/10th bust and the backpiece causes her to overbalance backwards. Consequently she needs a block plinth for support, something I normally try and avoid as I really don't like them.

The OSL is killing me though :depressed:
 
It's a complex bust and candles are a difficult light source to portray as they flicker so much but keep.on you know it will be worth it in the end.

I finished this lovely girl just before Christmas, or at least, I reached a point with the OSL that I was not going to get it any better so downed brushes and called her done. Not totally happy with the result as she turned out vastly different (and a lot less striking) than the original concept idea I had for her.

A truly wonderful figure to paint, incredible details and a very strong overall theme/mood which I hope comes over in the images with the stepped down exposure. All round pictures in the "Completed" forum thread
