Roll some goat cheese in puf pastry, add some fig jam and a bit of honey . In the hoven at the t° indicated by the puf pastry maker ... mmm delicious, just perfect as first dish for New Year event .... Best

If you have the chance, try Torta del Casar, from Spain. It is quite easy to find in Spain, super-luxury delicatessen stores elsewhere might stock it, I remember seeing it at Fauchon, in Paris

But you can try with Epoisse ( french cheese, very strong )
Set the oven at 200° C
Get the cover of the box out
Some holes with a fork on the top and ... if you like, introduce bit of garlic in it ( remember to get the garlic germ out ) . Set it on an aluminium sheet then you wrap around leaving a chimey opening ) drop on it 5 to 10 cl of dry white wine . Put it in the oven for circa 25 min
Eat it with bits of bread ( eventualy make some croutons ... )
