Julian Bennasi (sp?) Another sadly missed sculptor not the greatest technically perhaps but like Carl Reid his sculpts look like real people not fashion models

Agree, I have one of his sculpts and the quality is amazing even with today's standards.
I put some pictures of it here.
 
For me, nobody caught the "essence" of a figure like Keith Durham. his New Hope Design Mongol oozed the part when most of the hobby were just producing not much more than Britains Toy Soldiers. He was the first to have his figures produced by Ray Lamb, and you had to be near perfect for that to happen. Bill Horan's pretty good too. Ray
 
I think all my favourites have been covered. Although Brian Nelson seems not to have been mentioned, great.

Forgot one though some bloke called Gary Higgins...he does some lovely work full of character and lovely details...especially like the British grenadier I admired so much at this years FW

Thank you Kev, I bet you thought I'd forgotten,but I've just finished sorting out what was wrong with that grenadier figure (and casting it) soo...........

So many good artists around the world that is difficult choose only one.
I like Teasung, Vladimir Demchenko, Menelay, Bruno Leibovitz, Adriano Laruccia, Latorre, Mike Good, Young, Antonio Meseguer, Ebroin, Roger Saunders, Sang Eon Lee, Anders Heintz, Antonio Zapatero and so many others...
