I've been enjoying a local beer lately which is labelled as such.............

But this one has also caught my attention..............

Which as the flag suggests is modelled on an English beer.

Waiting patiently for this one available mid January just in time for Burns Night.

Produced along with an excellent range of other beers by a family run craft brewery just up the road from me.
On a modelling note the bunnet shown in the label is what it should look like on a Jacobite, not the floppy over one ear that we often see in films.

We just had a new craft brewery open up in our town It is called Contrary Brewing....I already like the name...;). I am hoping for good things, he already make a very good Amber and is working on Stouts now.

Smart move going for a Bavarian style Weiss glass. You drink some and you look at your glass and it looks as if you've got half left, you take a swallow and suddenly it's all gone.
What can you do but buy another.

Quite a strong beer!......:joyful::D......... which may induce quite a lot of silliness, which may result in quite an awful hangover and quite a lot of regret.
All in all quite a nice beer...at quite a good price.....quite an experience......

I'm not much of a beer drinker, so I only occasionally go for a Miller Lite.

I do however miss some of the 'bier' I drank when I was stationed in Germany. Actually I wouldn't mind some of that Hell Bier from Grafenwohr :)!
