Female Bust

Today I finished this quick piece.
It's a 3d print sculpted by TytanTroll Miniatures called 'Celtic Lady' but I don't really have any atachment to celtic stuff, so i went for a different style:


I knew I wanted a darker skin complexion, but the restwas decided as I painted.
I started with a quick sketch of lights and shadows followed by an airbrush glaze:



I then painted the gems(my first time doing so)


and painted the NMM gold(using a different, purple base color)


I ended up toning down the blue coat and turning the clothing to a deeper red instead of the eye catching orange.
Which turned the bust into some kind of Wonder Woman scheme...


All things considered I had a great time painting this small bust.
