Nice subtle work, like how you unloaded the brush on the helmet!

Cheers Simon

Lol, I would never do such thing. Believe it or not, those are footprints of flies, we had sort of an invasion a few days ago and those little bastards got onto the wet palette then on the helmet. I almost crapped myself when one of them tried to ruin the already painted face. :nailbiting:

What paint type are you using?

Mainly acrilics by Vallejo and AK 3rd gen. Sometimes I play around with Scale artist heavy bodies and recently bought some Kimeras (only the delicate colors like white, red, yellow and purple) to have better consistency and coverage with the Kimeras made from single pigments.

Update. Got some time at the bench this weekend, there is obviously a lot of blending to do:D

I would laugh but that's not funny, I've had a spider on my desk before leaving a trail of Web wherever she went. The progress looks awesome.

Update on the shield. I planned a totally different heraldry but dumped the idea because of the asymmetry of the shield so I went with the insignia of the Ják clan (important family from medieval Hungary).
As we all know painting yellow on black is never a good idea, it is way more chalkier than I planned, hopefully some fixes and weathering will make it less obvious. There are two more coats on the yellow to be applied then comes the tear and wear.
