Hi Guys,

I've been painting a lot lately as you well know. This is my latest figure. Something different for me.

My good friend and mentor asked me to do something different. And I did indeed do that. I used Reaper Miniature Paints. I don't normally do that.

The exercise was to paint the face in 4 colors. I used Bronzed Skin, Rosy Skin, Redstone and Mahogany Brown. The idea was to paint for placement and smoothness. The idea behind this exercise would be that it would help me paint 54MM faces smoother. Also had to paint eyes a different color than blue.

I'm in the groove these days and painting like a fool! I'm off to the next kit! Another 54mm!

A really nice paint job,especially his blue tunic,which can be a right pain to get right.

Cracking sculpt crackingly painted , going to use the flesh colours if I may .

Really like the contrast between the tunic and cap
