I have been a fan and advocate of this magazine for years, despite having only school french. It routinely covers all of the big European shows, provides excellent historical material (mainly French but what should one expect), has invariably good photo coverage (especially with SBS articles, which helps to overcome language difficulties) and is even produced on good quality paper. By contrast, the main Uk mag is, and has been for years, no more than an armour mag with (dare I say it) token figures articles. I have long since stopped buying it. While our hobby is suffering from "greyification", I would always have assumed that there were at least as many figure modellers in the UK and Ireland than in France or Italy, yet both the latter can support their own language magazine (not sure about Spain). The US market was unable to sustain HM. With that background, and to echoe Steve's point, it would constitute a big business risk to invest in a foreign language edition - I don't think its chauvinism.
