Hiya Dave..that looks like a lovely paint job mate...nice contrast between the jacket and trousers...(not that I know anything about the uniforms of this period mind you)...I can see that he's turned out really well, I like the large pics but the little montage of shots is excellent.

A pleasure to look at. ;) nice one Dave.

Roy.

I like him a lot Dave, you did great painting and transforming this beautiful figure.

Hi Marc

The bag is from my spares box, with just a bit of insulation tape for the strap, (Bill Horan style), but I know that Michael Roberts actually does spares of these sort of things

Very nice Dave. I too have this figure on the "to do list" (it is pretty popular huh?) and enjoyed watching you paint it. Yours turned out better than I could hope for mine ;) .

Hi Jim

You just wait till you get some paint on this little guy, you will soon see how much of a painters figure it realy is, once you even see primer on tat little face you can see the brilliant sculpting, you will finish him better than you think... :)

WOW! Nice work.
I may have missed the answer to this but, What kit is this?
I read that it is converted in someway but, I have not seen one like it before.
I'd love to try my hand at it.
BTW, I love the smile. Loads of character.
Great work Dave.

Hi John

This is a commercial kit, from A company called Art Girona in Spain code (I-42) and its sculpted by Latorre. The only adjustments I have mad are the removal of the Sargents stipes on his arms, changed the top of the hat to a slouch hat and removed the sword. You realy must have a go at this figure its a real painters figure...
