When the mamluks besieged Acre in 1291 they constructed great siege engines to batter down the city walls. Of these, a few were truly massive and given names such as "The Furious" and "The Victorious." We have recreated one such weapon in the form of our CRU074 Trebuchet "The Furious" so now the Mamluks can appropriately batter down the Crusader Acre city walls! Also available are the appropriate Mamluk crew for this fantastic piece including a few escort guards, an Oxen team pulling stones, and crew figures manning the siege engine.Special Collectors Set only 150 Produced

Paul! .... it appears to be 60mm ! ... too small for me, but big enough for others! ..However the whole scenario will cost the earth!!! it is not cheap! @ $300. That's without postage, and the wacky cost of US imports ! .. so close to $ 450 +

Scale is 1:30
Figures are the same size as 54 mm kits. But they had real height of 60 mm

I once built a trebuchet out of wood, it stood about 3 feet high and could throw a golf ball nearly the length of a football pitch............awesome
