Hi to all. This one of my latest works. The roman, or bizantine general Flavius Belisarius, during the reconquest of Rome, in 536 a.C. The sculpture is masterfully done by Adriano Laruccia, the cast is very fine and clean, even the fingers of the right hand are perfect. All painted using acrylics. This figure is the cover of my site this month. I hope you like it.

Thank you very much Tarracus, I searched that effect on purpose. I´m glad you have noted it, is supposed to be in campaign.
Thanks ubbi, Filipe, Aveleira, Derek, Tony and Zeno, much appreciated.
Thank you Mat, I think the sculptor has found inspiration for the face, in different mosaics of diverse characters of the era.

Thank you very much, Mitsutaka,T34/85 and Pedro.
I use a mixture of red and dark brown for the color base of the cloak, more dark brown for shadowing and pinkish red for lights.
Thanks to all for watching.
