Thought you guys might like a look at another bust I did not long ago. I like the semi-blood shot eyes and the spaced out expression. This is an Andreas Miniatures 1/10 and was done with an acrylic base and oil finish. There's a few more pieces to show yall before I get to work in progress. Hope yall like it.

Thx Carl, this was anther perfect piece for getting in practice on blending oils. Gotta love them oils!

Hi PJ,

If memory serves me correctly I used Tamiya XF-58 Olive Green for the base coat and then mixed oils from there. Since at the time I had no base green oil color, or tube to start from, it was always scratch and match colors for any green tone. And you know how that can be a pain when trying to stay consistant with shades.

I have several Nam era articles of clothing/gear to use as a reference so I tried to match as close as possible. It should be noted that most of these flak jackets did fade to the yellow tint over time due to the beating and the famous red clay environment.
