Forum Usage Question--can We Configure The Number Of Rows A Query List Displays?

Can we configure the number of rows a query list displays? For example, when I land on the What's New page, the number of new posts (unread since my last visit) is displayed as a list defaulting to 10 rows per page. I'd rather see more rows on the page, and I've looked in my profile at the various settings, but I didn't see anything like a preference for number of rows displayed. I suspect that it's hard-coded in the page, that is, maybe configurable for the website, but not for each user.
