As previously mentioned, this year has not started as hoped or planned for but, much later than expected, here is my first new release for 2024.
It is a 3D designed vignette of a WW2 German sentry wearing a Wachmantel winter coat, smoking a pipe and carrying a Soviet rifle, a Tokarew SVT40, around his neck and with mittens - slipped off for the pipe smoke - hanging around his neck too.
He is standing in an upturned animal feed tub that is being used as cover from the frostand wind break, with the tub supported by branches and wood off cuts.
The tub is wedged tight against the tree stump and the wooden supports placed around the tub. To a certain extent, modellers can place these wood supports where they wish to add variation to the model.
It is based on a photo that I first saw years ago and has been developed with the kind help of a good friend of mine, Michael Schneider, who not only helped with the overall design but who acquired a number of photos that this figure is based upon.
Michael, (Time in Scale Facebook page

also painted the boxart and produced the painting guide included in the kit.

This is the 120mm version. A 1/35th version is being cast now and should be available in May.
The price for the 120mm version is £55 reflecting the fact that more resin was used in casting the tub, stump and wooden supports than the figure! Shipping is £3.85in the UK, £14.90 to the USA and £9.20 to mainland Europe. The 1/35th version will be priced on release.
As a development from this, I also have a further 5 suitable German winter sentry figures ready for casting and should be available in the summer. Although not planned per se, some of these will be suitable to add to this diorama. More details on release.

I hope it will be a great seller.

@David Spencer - yeah, in English it would be "Middle of nowwhere" but if you translate it 1:1 from German to English you would call it "At the ass of the world".

Eastern Front Germans are ten a penny, but this one is a nice variation on the well-worn theme and a very cool release. Giving him a Soviet rifle is another unusual twist, as is the makeshift shelter. I like it a lot!

Top-notch box art as well.
