He was in a box of seconds at the Jimmy Flintstone vendor stand (MMSI Chicago). Mainly fantasy stuff.....demons, skulls, etc but there were also copies of Grandpa, cousin IT (wish I'd picked that one up), Vincent Price, Sgt Schultz (Hogan's Heroes), all going for between $2-10 depending on the scale. That's why I wasn't too bothered about having to do the clean up. I also picked up a grinning demon and Boris Karloff Frankenstein busts, both are probably 30omm.
Herman looks like he is around 150mm (1/12?). I started on him last night. I've undercoated the skin with a mix of Vallejo Stone Grey and Afrika Korp Tankcrew. I'll post pics as I make progress

That was a great flea market style bin... I picked up a grinning skull, two different skulls in German helmets, a grinning Devil head and a Tiki head, all for the low low price of $20!!!! The Devil and the Tiki are real '50's hot rod style pieces. Trying to figure out how I can make them into shifter knobs for the jockey shift handle of my chopper project. Drill, thread, paint and clearcoat so they can take rough handling.... Thoughts?

Paul (or anyone) do you know how to contact Jimmy Flintstone? If my plan works I might want more of these kool little buggers ;)

Look forward to seeing how Herman developes

Colin

PS- Colin F is right... Lily was "drop dead" gorgeous :love:
