Hi Jean-Philipe, I am also an admirer of your work mon ami, with all your compatriots, especially Daniel Ipperti with whom I met in Roma 2002.........

Thanks for your praise, Steve told me that you liked King Philip ;) at St.Vincent last year.

Take Care,

Ray :)

Hi Ray.
Awesome face.
I love specially the step where you paint the darkest shadows.
Could you explain a bit the steps?.
I'm sure everyone here would thank you.
Best regards

Hello Jaume, many thanks to you for the nice praise...........

I always apply a very dilted wash (stain actually) of Prussian Blue (Andrea) in the eyebag area to simulate fatigue...........

My darkest shadows are Vermillion 909 + Black 950, again diluted!

Beard area is also done with a dilution mix of blue black......Black 950 + Prussian Blue (Andrea)..........

Hope this satisfies your question ;)

Regards,

Ray :)
