My shed has been getting an upgrade recently so I've been away from my bench for a while but it's all done now and I'm chuffed to be back painting in familiar surroundings.
I've been working on these two 1/16 busts from Stormtroopers. The French Infantryman is painted in oils and is pretty much finished and the Fallschirmjaeger is painted with Jo Sonja acrylics and still needs a bit of work on the webbing straps and some touch-ups.
Both busts were a joy to paint although I have struggled at times trying to control the acrylics and get to grips with paint consistency, particularly for glazing.
I haven't got my camera set back up in my shed yet so all I've got for now are some quick iPad snaps. I'll maybe get some better pics at the weekend.
