French Mamelouk

Hi guys

I what to start my next project a french Mamelouk and i wondering about painting the flesh colours.
Would i be alright with a general flesh colour? or do i need a darker colour?
Any ideas please let me know

Hi Kevin,
The squadron of Mamelouks attached to the regiment of "Chasseurs de la Garde" were originally Egyptian, then arabs with a skin darker than european. However, You must consider that almost all officers and many non commissioned men were French, then normal european skin tone
