I'm glad to , coming along nicely , fully basecoated , started work on red shirt and reworked the medal ribbon parts at top/bottom

Eyes done ...that flesh calls !

Will post pics soon

Found this in a set of prints I have ...another idea for others maybe

Couple of very iffy pics on Mary

Finished all lacework ...it's a lot redder in reality , pic has taken colour out for some reason or maybe just rubbish painting !

Sash and cuffs done. ...slight colour difference

Medals and belt buckle done

Dark blue just a basecoating !

The barrel is being worked on ....should look good in place

Hi there folks

Managing to get bits done during a very trying personal time

All bust complete , the strap will be leather once the barrel is in position ...after the flesh is done ! ........might add a buckle where it fits as well

Still to paint the belt and holster

Went for a white feather on the headwear

Couple of iffyvision pics .......barrel all mounted up ...broke straps off so have redone them ...waiting for putty to go off then painting strap and underneath the bust ...nameplate ordered

Not sure about the buckle !

Thanks for comment , she doesn't look too bad ...better in reality! ...no light shine !

I changed the canteen strap buckle which has now fully set overnight so finishing the strap today all being well ( also based up and basecoated Colonel Hawkins yesterday )

Stand by for final result ...days are getting better

Trying to take good pictures is a pain, setting up proper lighting can take ages, then transferring the pics from camera to puter, cropping etc, and uploading. Your iffyvision pictures will do fine until the final reveal.

I like the barrel, I would possibly distress the paint a little, but it looks good as it is.
