Superb figurine, beautiful painting and enplus a French subject of the Great War.

Really a pity that it is not a figurine for the trade
One note:
The French "Poilus", units that fought in "Chemin des Dames", were between 19 and 25 years old, so not that old.
Why everyone thinks that "Hairy" means old!
They simply did not shave every day, like the English, and often wore the mustache (it was the fashion of the time)
On this subject look at the pictures of airmen like Guynemer or Navarre, who shaved them every day.
