One of my favorite Detaille works. I have it on my hanging on my wall at home. It is an absolutely marvelous conversion. I only wish I had the talent and expertise to attempt a project like this one.

Ivo,
Yes I did! It was outstanding! I am giving a presentation at the Chicago show on Historex conversions, and the way you did yours gave me some inspiration for mine.
Thank you for sending it to me, and I enjoyed seeing your work.

Best Regards,
Rod

Hi Rod
I'm happy you were inspired by my presentation.

I'm chatting with Greg di franco to made the presentation in Long Island.
Not exactly the same conference you have in your hand.

See you there

Hi Colin

Chicago isn't in list for this year. For sure I planned for 2015!

This year I'll be in Long Island mid November where I'll bring this figure ( and others)

I'm chatting about a conference there

Will you come in LI?

Ciau Ivo,

Once again a great mounted figure, I was hope to attending Long Island but I will not, maybe will sent some figures with a friend...Looking forward to see you in MFCA Valley Forge 2015.

avere un grande fine settimana.

Rodrigo

to make this I took the inspiration from a mannequin that's in the musee de l'emperi, are very similar to the laces paint by Detaille and can be that he get the same info to paint his colonel
