Friend in Egypt

Has anyone heard from our friend Hysham in Egypt since the troubles began there? He was a fairly frequent contributor but I have not seen anything from him in a while and am concerned. Anybody got a clue?

No word on our fellow planeteer, however I had heard that most communications had been restricted or shut down.

ie phone services restricted, internet shut down.

All part of the efforts to restore peace to the street.

Well he is living in a free country
Hope he is well, and contacting us very soon.
At least it is leading to something. But i think the cork is out off the bottle.

My thoughts are with Hisham, his family and all Egyptians. I was fortunate to visit this beautiful country in 2009. Truly one of my most memorable trips.

I know internet is back up in Cairo. My family lives there so we are now hearing from them. As for Hisham, no word yet

I was in correspondence with Hisham last night (my time). He says the family is fine for now, and just hoping that this is over soon.

Just saw responses from Hisham on Timelines saying all is well and the state interrupting the internet was the prob. He is fine. Whew.

What a mess. I hope for that whole nations sake this is over soon. Its gone on for far too long. Hope no more folks get hurt....

I can't imagine what that must be like to live through.
