Hi all.

Today I want to show you mi last finished miniature. It's a Knight Model's Gandalf on 70mm.

Painting this model is really easy and complex at the same time. It's easy because it has no special technical difficult, but it's complex because BoxArt work by Jose Manuel Palomares moved the model on to the top so make something new or better it's almost impossible. In fact his choice of the texture for clothes is perfect so my best choice was to do something different with the atmosphere.

Having this one and Boromir's miniatures at home I talked about with my friend Antonio Fdez. (Piquifl), who as you know, it's the responsible of this kind of stuff in our club The Cursed Monkeys. I had an idea for Boromir that he confirmed but I had so many doubts about Gandalf.

At the end atmosphere is on Moria, In the dwarf's grave where pippin let fall a cube to the hole alerting orks.

Hope you like it!

Cool! I like this figure a lot and you've done a great job on it. The groundwork and scenery look good too.

Great, Amazing, Superb, Excellent!!!!!!!!!..... all the details and the key objects of the sceneare in the base. About the figure itself...what I said before....very Sir Ian Mckellen....

Pedro

Arsies,

Hugely inspirational for me to see your finished piece, as I'm still working on mine. Great work on the highlights.

You've given me some thoughts on how to present Gandalf.

The only thing missing is your scene is Glamdring, Gandalf's sword, which he was certainly wearing in Moria.

Thank you very much for your words.
