Great job Mike and like the idea of adding to the fence. You’ve also made a super start on the archer. Look forward to seeing that one progress.

That's the first completed version of the Gendarme that I have seen and the great paint job has certainly made this figure even more tempting, (we all must have the same thought about finishing the fence off), I will be watching your progress on the Archer as that's more my type of thing and its looking good.

I like both.
At the moment I'm also painting the Gendarme. Can I ask you why you paint the jacket orange. In my references (Rouselot) it is red.

Hi Marc glad you are enjoying your painting.....yes you are quite right the references I looked at show different shades of red....however this is my personal take on a poorly washed and faded tunic.... thanks for looking and commenting...always appreciated.... . Mike
