Thanks a lot Colin. I am hoping to finish over the next 3 to 4 days and get back to Gourgaud. I am enjoying painting to the background sounds of the 14 Sharpe movies, all of which are on you tube.

Shako progress. Chin scales and plume not yet started. Pictures of the Shako from Rigo and Gros.

Thanks Nap. Today I worked on his pelisse and re-did all the gold lace. The glossy green on the pelisse will be dull coated flat. The pelisse fur is not started. But getting close to home. After dull coating, I will do the metal (buttons, chin scales etc.) and then ink the lace a little to add some sparkle. These are likely the last WIP updates as I will start a new string for the completed project.

Don't be negative Colin:stop: . At this point, short of dropping it on the floor or trying to finish the painting with a rattlecan... there's no way you can ruin this masterpiece :arghh:

Cheerleader Colin

I think that you have developed a very distinctive style that is easy to recognize. Incredible detailed and precisely sculpted parts on this bust:wideyed: . While I see (very) small options for improvement on the head sculpt everything else looks so damn professional. I am sure that these busts would sell if you would go commercial. Can´t see a chance that you will drop any ball on this one.
All the best!
Martin
