I completed a companion piece to my earlier The Charging Chasseur by Theodore Gericault.

I took the pics to try to avoid any glare. Hope you all like it.

Just as well these beauties are under glass – they’re an open invitation to little fingers to poke around with them (presuming you have grandkids).

Hi Alan, Peter, Mobo and Jeff,

Thank you for your generous comments.
Once sealed, they are fairly well protected. It’s difficult to take pics of them due to the window glare. The glare isn’t there when they are viewed with the naked eye.

Rgds. Victor.

Simply magnificent in every respect

Just going to agree ....your artwork is inspirational with the end result being recognised as the original

Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our OCTOBERS FOTM comp and also vote in SEPTEMBERS classes as well

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your always generous comments. I am still learning and hope to improve with each piece.

BTW, the artist's full name was Jean-Louis Andre Theordore Gericault.

I can say with a straight face that I have a pair of old jeans. :)
