A Fixture
Hi All,
Finished this some time ago. It turned out to be a more challenging figure than I anticipated. There's just so much detail to paint and the figure holding a gun in front of him poses some construction and painting challenges as well, even with Alpine's truly excellent fit of parts, my compliments to that!
All painting was done in Vallejo acrylics, matted down with a touch of Tamiya Matt (except the face).
I tried some new techniques on the gun, trying to get different tones to the metal, some brownish, some blueish. I also tried something new on the leather boots, but am not sure if I'll repeat this on the next figure.
Snow is a mixture of white sand and microballoons.
Pfew, done! On to the next one...
