This is the start of the Glasgow fair holidays, traditionally can be a wee bit on the wet side,
Got to give the weather best of show this time as it has been bloody teaming down all day and now seems to be reaching some sort of crescendo , I decided to open up the roof on the extension for some needed repairs before the winter ,help ma boab

I have no idea what you are talking about, but I wish you luck. :)

Some translations sd324 Teaming down. Glasgow slang for extremely heavy rain. A wee bit on the wet side. sarcasm for more than a little wet.
Help ma boab. Goodness me example; Goodness me it is rather wet , polite form :D

Seems all the Glesgae folk are at the Red Lion Caravan park at Arbroath , a stones throw from Carnoustie.
This weekend I saw lots of folk sporting big muscles, Rangers and Celtic tops, ginger hair, homemade tattoos, moustaches, stookies, gochling, belching Buckie whilst smoking a dozen twenty number six at a time and downing a deep fried Yorkie bar supper and intimidating the Royal Marines from 45 Commando who are based at Arbroath..........and the men are even scarier!....;)

Wearing Celtic and rangers tops , amazes me why anyone would want to dress in other peoples working outfits :D

What are you lot like? William the Lion explained all this in 1211 ....... some people have short memories ;) I

I trust that clarifies everything.:D

looks like a morning for triviality then ,just back from glasgow airport where i was meant to pick up my son from America but her indoors gave me the wrong fekin day

Nothing trivial about a Royal Decree......particularly one where you directly benefit ;)
Lacking the necessary inbreeding, far be it for me to interpret the machinations of a royal mind but here's an attempt to paraphrase......

" I Wullie and my wee dog Scotty hereby decree that :-
1. a single decker bus is better than a minibus any day.
2. that all Glasgow Brickies (even the ones that ponce about as landscapers) shall have the last fortnight in July as a holiday.

There's two Edinburgh pansies winking at me........me and Scotty are getting off at the next stop ......I've left them a note with Rons number on it "

William the grace of God, King of Scots, to all good men of his whole land, clerics and laymen, greeting. Know that I have my firm peace with justice to have given to all those who shall come to the market of which we have granted to God and St. Kentigern of Glasgow and the burgh of Glasgow to make warre that way, and we must return there to their place, and to receive lawful so to do that which they ought to do justly and according to the assize of my burghs and of my land. Witnesses, William de Bosc my clerk, Philip de Mowbray. In Edinburgh twenty. June.

Can't see anything about Ron's roof though ??
