The tartan does not disappoint Kurt. I would not disagree if you veiled the tartan. It does look somewhat bright, but may be the lighting for the photo makes it seem that way.

Here is the photo that I referenced earlier. It can be found on page 124 of the Franklin book, which was one of my principal references, along with the Osprey title. The Franklin book is one of my favorite recent additions to my library - highly recommended!
