Hi everyone,
I am here to present a step-by-step of the new-release of April , a figure made for Scale75. This is the figure of the Gran Master - a twelfth-century Templar.

Here are the first steps:
1) The figure mounted on the chair typically those times .At this moment the chair is only improvised, but its presence is very important because it determines the posture of the figure.

2) I’m following with the second step which is the basic anatomy:

3) On the third step can be noticed the shapes of the clothes. You can also note that the separation work is already done because this way I can observe more detailed each fragment that makes up the set. The legs are covered with a latex coating to protect the texture of the mail.

That is really wonderful. Seems like a lot of people are afraid to do a sitting figure. This figure even in this quite pose looks as if the weight of the world is on his shoulders. Really great sculpt.

Hello again and thank you for following this thread.

That is really wonderful. Seems like a lot of people are afraid to do a sitting figure. This figure even in this quite pose looks as if the weight of the world is on his shoulders. Really great sculpt.

The drawing that inspired me for this figure is not mine,it is the drawing that sent me the commissioner and I made the interpretation.Actually the subject is not unsual because this is not the first templar that I made. But this time I tried to interprate the mood's character a little bit different than the drawing where it looks more sad than other think.Soon I'll be back with the final pictures.See you and thanks for your interest.

Hi Paul,
This is a sublime piece of sculpting, truly captivating, the face full of reflective thought and you really have captured the moment. The face instantly draws you in and creates a sense of atmosphere.
Dear Santa can I have this one.

best wishes
Richie
